2019 Miss Ogle County Expectations
Wednesday, July 31, 2019 following Little Miss/Mister at the Ogle County Fairgrounds
$1000 in cash and prizes awarded to the winner
** Candidates must be an Ogle County resident or attend an Ogle County School.
** Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age and not have achieved her 22nd birthday by January 1st, 2020.
** Candidates will be required to appear on stage in casual wear to answer on-stage questions. They will also be required to wear a formal dress for the evening gown competition, a business suit for the speech, and a one-piece swimsuit for the swimsuit portion of the competition.
** The winner of the contest agrees to participate in activities at the Ogle County Fair and activities that may arise during the year. Activities associated with the Ogle County Fair should take precedence over other appearances. The winner should also plan to attend as many parades as possible in Ogle County as well as surrounding counties. The winner agrees not to participate in any other pageants without permission from the pageant director.
** The winner agrees to participate in the Miss Illinois County Fair Queen Pageant in January of 2020 in Springfield, Illinois.
** Former Miss Ogle County Fair queens are not eligible to participate.
** No professional models will be eligible to compete.
** No current pageant queens will be eligible to compete.
** Candidates must be single and never have been married, divorced, have children, be pregnant, have been pregnant in the past, or become pregnant.
** Candidates under the age of 18 must have parent’s/legal guardian’s written consent.
** The newly crowned Queen will use extreme caution in written comments and photos on all social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, text messages, etc.
** The Queen will conduct herself respectfully at ALL times and in ALL ways as she is representing the county for the year. People are always watching. She will be required to relinquish her title if convicted of a crime or other extreme issues arise during her reign.
** The pageant director and fair board reserve the right to recall the queen’s title at their discretion if any of the guidelines are not followed. If the queen can not carry out her duties during the year and has to relinquish her title, the first runner up will take over any duties/appearances for the remainder of the year.
** Prize money will be rewarded upon completion of the queen’s reign.
** Decisions of the judges are final. Any grievances or objections relative to the pageant will be referred to the Queen Committee and the pageant director.
To enter the Miss Ogle County Fair Queen Pageant, please complete the entry form and mail with your registration fee to Michelle Jozefowicz, ATTN: Miss Ogle County Fair Queen Pageant, 1207 Westview Dr., Rochelle, IL 61068 or download from and email to: (Fees will still need to be mailed if registration is emailed.) All checks need to be made payable to Ogle County Fair Association. The fee for the Miss Ogle County Fair Queen is $50 for early registration. If your entry form is postmarked after June 20, 2019 the fee will be $60. There will be a mandatory meeting/practice on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at the Ogle County Fairgrounds. Please wear a black top with a skirt or a black dress for pictures at the June meeting. Heels are not required. Other dates to keep open are 7/13, 7/25, and 7/28 at 6 PM. 7/28 we will rehearse at noon if needed. 7/30 Full Dress Rehearsal at 6 at fairgrounds.
